Hello!
My name is Julia.
I am Sonoma County Based Photographer with a passion for showing people how valuable and beautiful they are.
You might be thinking to yourself “I’m no a model…” or my personal favorite “I’m really not photogenic”. But guess what… most people aren’t! The people on my site were all right there with you! My mission is to make sure that you see yourself in a different light after doing a session with me.
For years I thought I was ugly and it was then that I had to embrace the cold hard truth… IT DOESN’T MATTER! People love you for YOU! and my goal with every session is that your true personality will shine through the photos. Whoever YOU are, I want to capture you for YOU. Not for me, or for society. For YOU.
What I think makes my photography so special: I’ve spent years doing volunteer work in the slums of Africa, Mexico, the Philippines and right here in my home, Sonoma County. That is what is fulfilling to me. I love bringing hope and LIFE back into peoples lives and photography has helped me to accomplish that in my daily life.
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was able to work a camera. For me it’s another way to pick out little hidden gems, polish them up and place them into the spotlight where they can shine beautifully for everyone to see.

I have one older sister, six younger brothers & 5 younger sisters. All blood related & we have a BLAST together.
I nannied for over 10 years, so if you’ve got a misbehaving kid at our session, I GET IT. and I am NOT bothered by this at all. like… seriously.
